New 12s 4kw motor from Hobbyking for under $100

Would this be close in size to a 1527?
Could be a nice one on 10s

Powerwise as 6boost pointed out, in between a 1521 and 1527......................so 1524?? Size-wise this motor is 39 x 95 from the specs, a Neu 1527 is like 39.8 x 102

Its that motor or the FC TP 5660 780KV for the Stealth.

Not sure what would be better for sport running.

They are a bit more exy Lenny, $386 usd/aud, they are known for being a high quality motor tho and being water cooler AND an outrunner don't require a water jacket either so a little saving there. The only other motor comparable in power AND price is a castle 2028 at the same money and same power output. Was just highlighting another option for the hp junkies like myself that didn't want to spend $800 on an NEU or LMT.

fwiw I've used and abused scorpion 4035's for the last 4 yrs and besides running a tad warm, 140-150 when the ambeint was80F, I don't remeber one of the 7 or 8 failing. Just sold my last 4035/630 for a 10s 700 sized heli to maiden on. Had a scorpion 1900/3025 that I could not bog with 13* of pitch which was just short of amazing. Now as I rebuild during the winter I'll turn my attention to the scorpion ver 3 hk motors. btw they like oil on the bearing every six flights or so. Included in the warranty disclaimer and practiced by me.
