I think I might have figured it out
Make sure every component on the page is loaded before switching pages, if it isn't, refresh until it is
this doesn't work every time, but I feel it has reduced my errors a little.

forum platform php system update has affected more than our own haven for solace.!
It's a worldwide phenomenon that has occurred due to software update at the sites you visit... local site admin needs to either rollback or wait until programmers release patch ( Id rollback... )
