yeah its pretty good stuff for painting models or boats. just know that once you activate it theres a "pot life" or in this case a "can life" since it becomes a catalyzed product. Way better quality than most "lacquer" type spray bombs you can buy and some sweet colors.

40$ is the price listed on the site, I'm not sure what it retails for unless that is retail. Give em' a jingle, maybe you could work out some special dealer pricing with them and sell direct on the OSE site. Very cool color's indeed!

Like i said before it has a very short lifespan once its been activated, so at 40 bucks a can i'm thinking you would be better off buying a cheap spray gun and buying automotive paint and going that route, at least then you would have a shelf life................ And no doubt about it you will get a better quality job out of the gun rather than a can.

I can easily spend one can of paint on a boat or two. I don't paint enough to warrant the cost of a spray gun and gallon's of paint which is why I chose the rattle cans.

Pot life on these two-part epoxy paints is 4 days.
Do they have anything other than this "candy apple" stuff? Like plain colors?

They have Hawaiian hues to speed clears. If yo want plain base coats you need to go to paints that use a spray gun.

That's odd...I'm using a 2-part epoxy primer(beige) that comes in a rattle can...I've also got 2-part clear epoxy in a rattle can...so why don't they offer a 2-part epoxy base color in a rattle can?

At $40.00 a can they are going for the "WOW" factor. If I were to get the alsa paint it would only be for the speed clear.

WOW! (But then I pay $34 a can for the clear and primer system).

I like lacquers - no windows and you don't have to use a clear unless you want to. I have tried the uros but prefer the lacquers.

Who makes a good rattle can lacquer? A nice bright (Ducati) red...
