I use ca to hold the edge if its coming off a bit.

just make sure if youre sticking velcro you clean it really well with rubbing alcohol first, if glueing use 8o grit to rough surface up well. those are the most common reasons people cant get stuff to stick. improper surface prep. i try to use pool noodles to hold batteries down. no glue, no worries

Just use a small amount of F/G resin & hardener , which i do & haven't had a problem since .

I would think Gorilla glue should work well, I found sticking pool noodles to glass fibre was one of the best ways for a difficult material as many other glues i tried didnt hold as well. Martin.

I use Gorilla Glue. It is waterproof, strong, works great. Be careful on application becuase it expands a little bit.

The sticky back stuff sticks best if you spray where its going to go with contact cement. I use 3M . Its very hard to get up if you needto remove it.

Got fed up sticking velcro as it dosnt stick that well permantly, Now fold up out of 1/2" x 1/16" aluminium flat strip shallow top hat shape loops that are bonded with glass or carbon to the hull. Non sticky velcro simply passes through these loops, Easy to replace & full adrustable. The velcro also dosnt tear away from the hull in high speed crashes. Martin.

I bought 25 ft of industrial velcro off the net a few yrs ago and none of it had adhesive backing.
Easy fix is to use contact cement. Put it on both the velcro back and the surface you would like to attach it to. Let each dry and when you place the glued surfaces of each together it is there for good.

i dont use any glue, i just buy the industrial strength roll from Rona. Its got a sticky back, and doesn't peel.

i am going to see if i can find it at my rona today....

well i go to the local fabric store and get a meter of velcro for 5 bucks 2" wide stuff wicked stuff.....

i use silicon if the sticky back won't hold, it will hold for at least a season if you use good silicon and works even on heat shrink on batteries
