Speedmaster makes(made) an expensive but very unique tool for measuring props and pitch. If you need one, or ever had the thought of getting one, I suggest looking around now. They are no longer going to make them! I had one instock, but quickly removed it and placed it in my tool box. Even thou it will collect dust until I find the time to play with it.

Chris Woods also sells a near identical unit. It is more expensive though at $255.

I believe the SM is based off the Woods' design.

Considering material costs and machine time, it's dirt cheap. At $70 more, the Wood racing version is cheap for what you get.

If you do your own props, it pays for itself in a heartbeat. Most guys won't you a tool like this. But for those that do, they are worth every penny.

I had mine for over a year before Darin got his. He did make me a custom shaft for working on 1/8" shaft props.

It's the difference between guessing and knowing what that prop really is.

Yup and I went for the $255 it has a coulple more features and SM one was not out when I bought mine

I think I purchased the last one from OSE. I can read pitch, but now I will have to learn how to bend props.
