antbody have any experiece calibrating and programming these escs using a unicard cant get it and the 18 page instructions are not that clear any help apprciated

Are you trying to use it with a 3S system? They are a PIA using the Tx method. Never tried the card or USB. I got a 3 of them in my fleet. A very good speedo overall. What's happ'n with the programming?

Does it have constant beeping or is it the programming beeps? A constant beeping is the error notification. Somethings wrong. A series of rythmic beeps would indicate its in the program mode. I think I spaced out getting back with on this problem.Originally posted by Alexgar View Post

I have a mgm esc and managed to get it to arm once - that's it. I have 2 cards and the software with the usb link. One of these days I may try to get it going again.IMPBA 20481S D-12Comment

I think it's off to the Czech rep I fired it up and my 2.4 bind and then the led went out and I pulled the red wire and put a bec and it's acting like it's not getting a signal at all won't enter programming so I'm gonna send it off and service it and hopefully they can waterproof or and trade the fans for waterplatesComment

Just be patient with them. They will get it repaired. But the last one I sent them took over 2 months to get back. Mine was only giving me a constant red LED. Nothing else.

what was the cost to have it serviced as far as patience my etti is off also so if i get back 2 high end esc about the same time it will be like christmas lolComment

Thats the kewl part. Shouldnt cost you anything other then the shipping cost. The last MGM I purchased was an Ebay buy. The seller never mentioned he couldnt get it to work, much less it was damaged. I got it. Did a visual inspection and it was obvious there was a smoked part on one of the boards. You could see it with the naked eye. So I tried contacting MGM using email and never heard back. They wouldnt respond. The prick I bought the speedo off Ebay stated it worked for him. Yet I had a speedo with literally smoked comonents. No way he had a "working" speedo. So I took a chance, wrote a nicely worded letter. Told them it was a speedo that came in a boat I had purchased and it wouldnt work. And I had no clue as to why. Could they look at it and send me a repair quote. 9 weeks later they sent me back the repaired speedo. With a thank you letter from one of their project engineers! Thats one of the reasons I am sticking with my MGM's. I have 3 of them. I doubt I will ever sell them. They are not the "best" speedo available but with a service dept that treated me like that. Just wish I could afford their newest 400amp speedo. Looks good, not much bad press as of recent. Cant say that about other makers! I would love to be their crash dummie and try to break it. For now on HV and high amps I'm going to have to stick with Schulze for awhile.

It's my second and bought it for a pretty reasonable as is price beeping but the guy was far from a rc expert and hoped it was him I would suspect it was run on an external rx power source even though it has a bec glad to hear about the price I got an etti 150 Opto here and clogged the wc on my rudder and smoked it they told me the same for shipping to them plus 35$ return shipping they would repair or replace it I'll buy more etti and if MGM is the same may purchase a bigger one for my next build prob a df 33 if not I'll hit Ben at fcComment
