    Suppo 1600KV outrunners, 4S each motor, 38mm props - top speed: 55mph!!!!!

Good stuff Jesse , this is the stuff i like to read about

Here are some pics of Carls boat running today. She ran great in the chop. Note the video camera taped on the bow.

here is the link (hope this works) of this morning at the lake.
pretty windy conditions out as well.
could only run it at about 1/2 throttle.

45" insane Mono (converted from CMB90)
    twin T-600 1400KV outrunners
    6s1p 5000mah 40c (times 2)
    x-447 cr props.
    Twin Sea King 180A ESC's w/2 additional 50v 4700uf caps each.

My first ever video as well.

Def try to keep the props as close as you can, I had a problem with my props hitting and had to install a bar at the end of my struts to keep them away from eachother, ill post a pic to show you what I mean but other than that I didnt seem to have any other problems. Let me know if you have any other concerns or questions and id be happy to help.

Hey Chris, if you lent me one, I would then have two and could perform the experiment. pm on its way.

If you have one with 5.5mm bullets, that would be best. thanks!!

Still sympathetic, but maybe not related to the magnetic field. I have NOT observed this phenomena with inrunner motors ever! I don't think there will be anything for free, except maybe some "cushioning" - maybe bad on ESCs? probably not, but need data to be sure. Anyone with two Eagle Trees?
I don't think so. Since the motor was disconnected it was totally sympathetic, the esc's weren't involved. The outrunners, having the magnets under the outer spinning can is what I suspect allows/causes this. This is quite an interesting (phenomena) - it'd be nice for someone to build/use this idea - it has merit. Anything that can save amps or give more power for the same amps is always cutting edge!
