I have a Proboat Apache and recently had to buy a new speed control (http://www.proboatmodels.com/Product...ProdID=PRB2314)
I currently use 6-cell NIMH batteries of various capacities and according to the manual, my speed control can handle anywhere from a 6-cell (7.2 volts) to 10-cell (12 volts).
My question is, will I see a performance difference if I were to buy anything greater than a 6-cell or am I better off sticking to a 6-cell for my boat?
