    new here and need some help

    hello i just bought a miss gico and new lipos and then found out i cant use 35c lipos but i need 25c what is the difrence and what would hapen if i did

    35c is the discharge rate of the batts I may be wrong but I am pretty sure you will be fine with 35c in that boat

      you need a minimum of 25c, anything above is better. the higher the c rating = the better your boat will run. the c rating is basically how much the battery will discharge, so the more the better

        thank you for the help hope it works ok just bought two new 5000 2cell 35c lipos for it

              I am just thinking of getting into FE Boats and wondered if the Rio EP is a nice boat for a beginner????

                i really havent any experience with that boat, everybody has different opinions about starter boats, but i know alot of people start on sv27's.

                  bob, great little boats but you'll be looking for something faster real soon. Depending how big your pond/lake is you might want to look into a supervee 27 or a rtr cat

                      thank you guys this is my first ele i have been running a prather 23 tunnel for the past 15 years it has the kb 7.5 on it an i have realy enjoyed it

                          Why can't you use 35C lipos? the "C" is the discharge rating. For example, a 1000mAh lipo batterycan be continuously discharged at 35amps. a 25C would be 25 amps.

                              paw, 35c is perfect, probably better than 25c. Proboat just wants you to buy their expensive dynamite lipos
