45in mono

ok guys, i picked up a 45in mono with no motor or esc installed from a friend, boat weighs 6.5 pounds like it sits. i want to run this thing on 8cell lipo only because i have those packs sitting around. i want to get mid 40's out of it. what is a good motor and esc combo to push this mono in the mid 40's?? thanks for the help. building it for just some good old pond bashing.

Get a Leopard 5692, 1090KV and run an X450 prop. Should get you where you want to go. For 8S you'll need an HV ESC. I'd recommend the Hydro ICE 200 or the Swordfish 240HV. OSE has them.
