Hi All,

New here, signing in from Australia.

Only been into the boat scene for a short while and read with interest many threads on this boat. (many very similar!!!!!!!)

This is my first boat by the way and as many others have mentioned, it handles perfectly.

I had upgraded to a 2874 2800kv leopard previously and wanted a bit more top end. From what I've gathered here, a 3660 2300kv on 4s was the next logical choice.

Anyway, went into the store today, and my choice from available stock was, 3660 2700kv or 3674 2200kv.

I went for the leopard 3674 2200kv.

Also picked up a 440/3 graupner for it but have plenty other 2 blade options if this doesn't work out.

Did I make the right choice?

Yes, that is a well suited motor for the boat. I ran a 3556 2600kv on 4S in mine and it was quite uncontrollable with an X438. So uncontrollable that i lost control, the tape came off the canopy and the whole boat sank! I was only able to get back the hull. Canopy is a complete loss.

I'm going down to ether an 1800 or a 2300KV motor because anything above 2300 on 4S is way too much.
