On a budget built though, what would you say? It's for my father. he wants to get a df 33 running in the 50 to 60's without spending alot of money.

Here's the best bang for the buck.....4074, 4 pole - run it on 4s and it will get real close to 50

JMO, but if if your looking for good motor for the DF33 on 6s try the Leopard 4082, 1500 or 1450kv. Steve sells it on his sight here.
