Jay what kind of speeds do you think I can reach with 4S thanks chrisOriginally posted by Fluid View PostThat Kv will work on 4S but NOT on 6S. You will need a lower Kv for 6S per motor, probably around 1600. The 4074 motors are similar to the Neu 1521s and should work well for your MHZ.

Chris, it depends on how long you want to run. Run time depends on pack capacity and motor temperature - heavier motors handle high amp/heat better than lighter ones. Powerwise that is essentially an 8S1P setup and you can prop up to get into the 70s. With 6S per motor, 80s are very doable with that hull. The scale German hulls handle speed better than the US/Canadian racing cats, but they don't turn all that well.

Jay Have you tried that prop yet ? I am a little confused you told me to run 4S know you say to run 6 S is that a type o? I would prefer to run the higher Voltage because I think I can go faster with more volts,, am I wrong about this ? you guys are my imformation guys as I am learning thanks for your time chrisOriginally posted by Fluid View PostChris, it depends on how long you want to run. the 4074's are comperable to the 1515 castle or Neu's .... the 4082 is the 1521 equivelant....Originally posted by Fluid View PostThat Kv will work on 4S but NOT on 6S. (IF you can find them) With CR x 447's. Ask Tiqueman how fast it is.

Chris;
Remember, RPM = SPEED
Thats why I will be running 6S2P power on the insane 45" mono with Twin 1400KV motors and twin props of course.
Did alot of homework on this and feel very confident it will go very well.
