Just got some of this to test. Non-hardening, kind of oily-greasy, but insoluble in water, non-conductive and boils at 475 F. Will test on speed controls- figure it'll coat better than regular Corrosion-X. More to come after testing.

I spoke with Nancy at Pacific Corrosion Products (very nice person) and told her what I intended to use it for & wasn't cautioned about any potential problems. I will test on a board tonight & see what happens.Originally posted by Big Bopper View PostYes that is what happend warp my RX circut bord but that was the first run of the HD but Kelly did tell me that they have it changed and will not do this any more .But i have not tryed this my self again .2008 NAMBA P-Mono & P-Offshore Nat'l 2-Lap Record Holder; '15 P-Cat, P-Ltd Cat 2-Lap

I just stick the straw in one end & let 'er rip.Originally posted by forescott View PostHow do you apply corrosion-x to a speed control? I've never done it before. Just remove the shrink tubing and spray the entire enchilada? Do you remove the cooling plate first??2008 NAMBA P-Mono & P-Offshore Nat'l 2-Lap Record Holder; '15 P-Cat, P-Ltd Cat 2-Lap
