Have a mini mono thats very quick useing a X435 but do get serious torque roll on excelleration & flat out if waters not perfectly flat, Ive used x432 & x430 which reduce problem but also reduces speeds. The problem isnt with boat set up but just pushing speeds. Would going to more pitch but less diameter help or make things worse, Say going for an x630 or y532 rather than the x435 that im useing. Martin.
Higher pitch v lower pitch prop

I am no prop expert, but on my king of shaves, I went from a 437/3 which had some torque roll to it, to a y536 which is supposed to have more pitch. The torque roll went away, but I lost some speed. I also went up in amps for some reason.Originally posted by martin View PostHave a mini mono thats very quick useing a X435 but do get serious torque roll on excelleration & flat out if waters not perfectly flat, Ive used x432 & x430 which reduce problem but also reduces speeds.
