Genesis Motor options?

think in SAW setup I could get 70 on the 1520? I've read this boat does NOT like heavy 2p setups so what's a good option? I'm thinking dual 6s 2650's?

Anyone know where to pickup just a genesis Hull? EDIT: I can't seem to find any Genesis hull nor RTR in stock are there any other hulls in a similar size?

You may want to consider two of these and run them in series..............they weigh less the the 6s 2650's. The 40c rating will give you plenty of punch.

Tique, have you done any plugs/moulds priors to this? I'll be keeping an eye on your thread. It seems promising and FighterCat's hulls look pretty interesting too

I'm kind of wanting to scrap the Genesis idea in favor of a larger hull. Most guys here (Miami) run gassers so I think a smaller hull will get tossed around in the not-so-glassy lake. The Sprint Cat 40 looks good but IDK where to even start to power that? would a single 1717 suffice for ~60mph? Appreciate the help :)

Quite a few years ago I did a V-hull gasser. Nothing special. Ive done numerous fiberglass forming for custom parts for full scale cars and boats, mainly for stereo components. (speaker enclosure on my ski boat under tower, abv bimini, in attached pic) And most recently Ive been doing BlackJack hatches. http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ad.php?t=18856
