    The Snake from Hobbytron.com

I just picked up the fall 2007 copy of RC Boat Modeler and on page 45 there is a boat shown called the Snake. I went to the website and there is no info. Has anyone seen one of these yet? Thanks

I have seen it. The blue one with twin cockpits correct? It's a glass hull with a 550 motor. Nice looking hardware also. IMO it looks like it could be a winner with a brushless setup.

The only plac I have seen it is in the mag and on there site. As I always say..You will have to "take one for the team" and buy one to find out :D.

I own the larger "Hotz" version of that boat with that hardware. Its ok, but not of the same quality as the SuperVee. A 36" boat with a 540 motor is a joke at best. Not sure why these companies keep making boats with power like this?

Not only that they claim crazy speeds. I wondered what the layup was like. If it's not even up to what AC does with the SV..I'd want no parts of it.

The Hotz is a bit thin but still is a project I want to tackle at some point.
