So where do all the scratch builders buy their plywood?

So where do all the scratch builders buy their plywood?
I went to my LHS (Barrie, ON Canada) and a sheet of 1/8" x 12" x 48" plywood is being sold for $47 a sheet. I thought this was kind of outrageous but maybe I'm wrong.
I'm looking to buy anywhere in Canada but will buy from USA if necessary.

Is scratch building still alive or is most hobbyist's going to F/G C/F?

Aircraft Spruce has the best prices and the biggest sheets. If you have a table saw, buy it there.

Also check at your local FBO and see if there's a home/kit builder source locally. Or an active EAA club - the builders will often let you add to their order to save money for both of you.
