Any one use this rudder on a hydro yet, just curious to see if it'll work on my vegas and a large mono. I want the dual water pickup = less screws and holes to install.:D

Dude that thing is HUGE. I bought one and was shocked when it arived. I could have cut it down but the bracket but the stand off was heavy. if I am not mistaken you need a rudder close to the transom on a hydro bud :)

I found that the bloody rudder on a miss vegas, no matter how much I trim it down tends to flex into the prop. I have tried stock, tlr, and a few others and have the same problem. So I am moving rudder to the opposite side and looking around for different setups. I did order the speedmaster and might put in on a 44" mono(big project).

Thanks Steve, I know you have them but them guys owed me some cash so I opted for the rudder. Dang it is huge !! might work good on my MM but I still can't beleive it's that big. Steve do you have a small hydro rudder with dual pickups built in ?. I like the idea of them dual pickups, makes a cleaner build and less hardware to install.:)

Dood I told ya it was HuGatick!!! HAHAHA. I have been looking for FE dual pick up rudders for a couple months now. The only thing close is still for gas and has to be cut down. The problem with gas rudders is the are wide all the way around.

Yup I hear ya wide, wide, wide and too long...lol. I think I got like 3 rudders and are way too big. Gotta find someone to make us some...hint, hint....I still cant get over how big it was SJFE...lol. I can fillet fish with it.:D

I forgot to mention I got the SM strut which is real nice. Put it on my Vegas now that I have 2 of em.
