flush fitting water pick up location ?

anybody using the water pickup on the bottom of a hydro hull?
If so where are you putting it?

if you do you want it at the back of the sponson on the ride pad

The only place it would work is on the ride pads of the sponsons. Why not just run a rudder pickup?

I have the rudder with the pickup or do you mean another type.
just like to get a little more water through it.

Are you using the large I.D. tubing? You should get more than enough flow with just a rudder pickup and the large tubing.

Yeah i have the large tube.
I see a lot of guys running extra pick ups to keep the heat down.
My rudder does have a pickup on either side,maybe thats enough.
