flush fitting water pick up location ?

anybody using the water pickup on the bottom of a hydro hull?
If so where are you putting it?

The only place it would work is on the ride pads of the sponsons. Why not just run a rudder pickup?

Are you using the large I.D. tubing? You should get more than enough flow with just a rudder pickup and the large tubing.

Yeah i have the large tube.
I see a lot of guys running extra pick ups to keep the heat down.
My rudder does have a pickup on either side,maybe thats enough.
