Gotcha.Now just come up with a way to cool a motor like that when its not running.Seems the motor heat keeps building when sitting after coming from a run.

Battery operated pump you sit in your cooler with cold water. Pull inlet off the rudder and attach and at the outlet you also attach a hose to pee back in the cooler and draw the heat off while you are tinkering ready to run your other boat. :) That easy. Old trick many brushed racers used.
Cold motors run better anyway...cool it before you run it and you will have less heat at the end of the run.Comment

You can rob one out of a swiffer or I saw some small fountains at dollar General or web and take the pumpout. Or you can find a 12v easily.
Graupner makes a cheap unit. Many work on 6 or 12vComment
