When some one refers to a 3/16th drive cable what does that = .150 or .187

It means 0.187". The 0.150" cable is smaller, more suited to 4S power.
1/8" (0.125/0.130") is probably best for 3S and down.
For 10S and up - better use 0.250" cable.

It's easy to convert with a calculator.
1/4
1 (divided) 4 = .250
3/16
3 (divided) 16 = .187
5/32
5 (divided) 32 = .150
1/8
1 (divided) 8 = .125
