33" Mono First Runs ?

33" Mono, (2) 3 cell 4250s in series , 13 XL Motor, X 445, So far top speed 35 mph. Temps after about 2 mins Motor 115, esc 105. Outdrive Flat with Hull. Felt I should be running a little faster. Boat handling great though. Also played around a liittle with CG. Pictures of set up found here under "DF-33 wiring and setup review" Also have a x645 ready to try.

Suggestions or comments ?

Well your cog is propbably waay to far forward motor about 11cm from the back is good then batterys about 3cm in front. What timing do you have on your esc and do you run a cooling jacket ??

CG is between 9 1/2 and 10" from rear, Timing is default (2-4 pole motors), OSE cooling jacket.

With temps like that, prop up. Try a m447. The x645 should give more sprred as well.

sinse i know who`s setup you copyed i wil take a few pics of mine to show you.please keep in mind that i have a neu 1521 in it now but thats the only thing have have changed in the boat

also have a 642 on at the moment to keep the amps down sinse the 1521 soposedly wil blow up my etti on 645

Finished a fun weekend running. Need to upgrade batteries.

Ordered some ProTec 3s "Supreme Power" Li-Poly 45C packs. Hope these add a little punch.

I now realize why my speeds were not where I thought they would be. My batteries are flightpower 4250 but on 17c cont and 27c max burst. I thought they were 27c batteries was reading them wrong.
