Some time ago there was an available flexible shaft hex driver to get to those hard-to-reach motor mount screws. Any links ? [ need a 2.5mm specifically]
Where can I find a flexible shaft hex driver ?

I remember OSE carried them for awhile but I think there was an issue with inproper useage and them breaking because of strong arming them. You can always use what I use Tony. Cut a 1/2" section off an allen and slip it into a 4 or 5" section of small silicone tubing. It will allow you to rotate it off angle and get those hard to reach motor screws!

[ as a reward for your suggestion, here's my secret stuff for holding small screws to a tool for locating tight places ] - just a microdot on the tool tip & holds 'till the fastener is seated

Nice idea... While we are sharing I have one also USE CAUTION..
take a screwdriver, get a length of 10 or 8 ga wire and coil it around the shank of the screwdriver.. Touch one end of the wire onto the + terminal of a car battery and just strike the other end of the wire across the - terminal a few times BEING CAREFUL NOT TO SHORT FOR MORE THAN 1 SEC AT A TIME ( best to use an old or someone elses battery
thats not currently in a car)
Your screwdriver is now magnetic..

Yeah I got one of those suckers too, except mine has a slot for demagnetizing also
.
Still, I find the coil method gives a stronger magnetic field and plus the sparks make it all the more exciting

Grab a hex key, driver and flex cable of your choice and braze together.
I have an old flex cable... maybe I'll make one up if I get the chance. Cool tool to have.
Home Depot had a flex drive set and Harbor Freight had a little flex drive set too. I think All-Spec has a flex kit too. http://www.all-spec.com/products/SPT8000-A.htmlFighterCatRacing Team CHING BLING - Ching Bling. Brilliant, Advanced Sparkle for your hull.

I'm primarily concerned with getting the screws seated. I'll torque them down/break them loose with the "L" shaped wrench.Originally posted by Alexgar View Postat one time i found a hex driver on a flex brazed across it, but there out there, as far as torque i dont know2008 NAMBA P-Mono & P-Offshore Nat'l 2-Lap Record Holder; '15 P-Cat, P-Ltd Cat 2-Lap
