    Newbie help...BBY Oval Master setup

I picked up some things cheap and want to know if I can combine these to make a boat. Hull is the BBY Oval Master made of ABS. Batteries are (2) 2 cell 5000mah batteries. Hardware is a stinger setup and rudder already on boat. ESC is a Skywing 80 amp with water cooling. Props I have from 42mm to 52mm. Motor is a Hacker B50 7L. Will the ESC be okay with that motor on 4 cells (2 in series). Any idea what prop to start with? This is just for sport running. I just got over my fear of lipos and charged the batteries and hooked up the motor to just two cells and all worked. I also have a feigao 13L motor and a 100 amp esc and a Castle 120HV too if any of them would be any better. Thanks

Don't run the 7L on 4 cells in series. You'd be much better off running them as 2S1P, or 2S2P with that motor. You could run the 13L on 4S1P. Stick with the 42mm prop, or get a 40mm plastic to test with first - jut to be sure.

Is it an Oval Master 26? I wouldn't bother with a 2S option if it is the 29" version.

It's the 26" one. I'll start with what you suggested. So rule of thumb is the lower the number on the motor the less cells that can be used? Thanks
