Love it, love it, love it :)
Even use all stock running hardware. Cable was letting go in coupler until I applied some lock tight.
I found that it is now much more stable and has no tendency to pitch up and down. Just stays straight as an arrow on the water just skimming along the top.
Need to upgrade to a stronger linkage cable.
i swear i have the worst luck with rc boats. What timing have you guys got your running at with the seaking 180amp esc and standard motor, it wasnt as fast as i would have liked and the batteries didnt last very long, they are 2x 7.4v 5800mah.
dont forget to put a plastic bolt threw the rudder so it will brake before the hull does..but you already no this im sure..

. I swapped to the m445 prop. I moved the batts more towards center. Steering was a lot worse this time compared to first run. Hit full throttle and after about 35 yards blow over. Recovered it and gps read 50.1mph. I moved the batts foward a little, ran again and another blow over. Recovered and gps read 51mph. I moved the batts all the forward against the factory foam and added a slight negative angle on the strut, ran again and blow over. Final gps reading was 52.6mph. Temps where all good. Their was a slight chop in the water, but not enough to cause the blow overs. Inline rudder may be the cause of the steering issues. Is this hull limited to 50mph or did I just have bad luck today?
