Adhesive for battery straps

I'm planning to install some straps to the hull floor to help secure the battery packs. Should I use epoxy for the straps or is there a nifty glue I could use?

Would'nt self adhereing velcro be much easier ?

I've never had good luck with self-adhering velcro. Never sticky enough. Ive used small amounts of gorilla glue. Use a thin layer because it expands.

Loctite Stick'n Seal works great.

I just put a small layer of epoxy and then the velcro. Never comes back up.
