How did this happen???

I hate to ask the obvious question but sometimes we overlook them. Could the flex cable have been the wrong rotation?

Yes, some time we do... "I hate to ask the obvious question but sometimes we overlook them."
So with this words I went overt the boat.... Man, I'm such an idiot!!!!!!!!
Found the reason.... the motor was only held by the 2 screws on the front and nothing at the back, so it was free to move up and down. I guess at one wrong moment it moved up, put a kink into the line and all hell broke loose.
Oh well... live and learn. No major damage, just a new tube and flex cable and it will run again.
