You guys have made me feel a little better. i dont mind doing a bit of tinkering and im a gas boiler engineer by trade so im not completely useless. That vid explains exactly what my boat is doing but maybe a little worse. i just dont want to cock it up like i did with my blackjack 26 brushless, i tryed changing the hardware on that and it just wouldnt run right after.
Should have paid the extra and got the osprey boat!

I believe that osprey boat may be about the same situation, just bigger. Someone has a thread on here I just read and they have already done a considerable amount of changes and "enhancements" and they have not even put it in the water.

I am not trying to be negative on this, I actually bought a Surge from Hobby City and am still trying to get the "kinks" worked out. It is what it is.
