I'm workin on a 27" Rigger. I got the new Feigao 5XL competition wind motor. I just purchased the Carbon fiber watercooled XL mount from Steve here. I'm still debating if I should put rear sponsons on the rigger. I'm not racing it, so I really dont need to take turns fast.....What do you think?Last edited by Dangerous_Toys; 06-12-2010, 08:16 PM.

I set a still-standing catamaran SAW record with a 5XL on 12 NiMH cells of 74 mpg. Don't use 5S, that is far too much for that motor. Even 4S will be hot so watch your temps. What amp rating on the ESC are you using?

Wow a 5XL!
Sweet looking Rigger..
I would go with the 180.
I'm thinking of a JAE 21 FE with a Castle 1515 2200kv on 4s my self

I talked with Mike Walker about building me one, and I cannot decide between this or a twin.. the JAE would be cheaper to build and should get some high speeds..Originally posted by Dangerous_Toys View PostWell Todd, keep us posted on the JAE. Good rigger for running a Castle/Neu.....NAMBA20...Caterpillar UL-1, P-Spec OM29, P-Mono DF33, P-Spec JAE, Aussie 33" Hydro-LSH, Sprintcat CC2028 on 8s, PT SS45 Q Hydro, PS295 UL-1 power, OSE Brothers Outlaw QMono 4-sale, Rio 51z CC2028 on 8s
