You can E-Mail Jeff [ put FE 30 in the subject] or call him at 310-351-0744. The website will be revised soon to include the FE 30. I'm not sure if the boat is IMPBA legal, you'll have to research that, but it's NAMBA legal for P-Sport Hydro. As of now, there's no " P-Spec Sport Hydro" classes in NAMBA, but the P-Spec class is run under club and/or district rules. There's P-Spec classes scheduled to be run at the NAMBA Nationals, and there may be some FE 30's competing.

It's 2" strips carefully laid in to give leeway in batt placement. Got it at a local automotive upholstery place. Kintec sells 2" velcro.

Since IMPBA Sport Hydro rules are less restrictive than NAMBA's the boat is clearly legal. That said - I'm not the one who would tech the hull at a race. But since the Whiplash is commonly raced at IMPBA fuel events (I've seen plenty) I can't imagine that the FE-30 would not be considered legal.

The more I look at this hull, it is very well designed and built....reinforced transom...sharp edges...a super sharp turn fin and very neat hardware....duly impressed.....Insane, build some more hulls for the FE crowd.
