yeh chris used to sell me some of the wrong things too... I push my 9xl harder then I should but its a cheap motor and has a water jacket... if she blows she blows... and I have a 180 turnigy on it know as I know I put the amps to it... the 120 won't survive either in that big of a hull with the 1515 1y.... if they are both New I would trade you your package for my LEHNER with Mount...

your drifter would rip with this LEHNER.....

its the newer hi amp Lehner... came new from Ray fullers fast 4 months ago.... has 5 runs on it..... literally...... pushed my 39" delta force mono to amlmost 60 and thats alot harder to push then a drifter cat...LOL.... you could see 70 for sure with this motor, probably more.... I do have speedos for the 1515.... what are you thinking cash and the 1515....

thats cool... I am buying a miss elam i think from jeff wholt.... I am waiting to hear back from him.... I have three 1515's but they are all 1.5y's (1500kv) and 6s wont fit in a elam.... so I am in the need ironically for a 1515 1y... I may buy one of those 1515 knockoff's (leopards) though..... if I do you can always still buy the Lehner... I think the lehner new retail for almost $500.... i got a good deal so I can lose only $90 and move on...lol... take care my friend and good luck.... worse case scenario you could use the 1515 1y and prop down and be happy with a high40's low 50 mph boat with what you have... the drifter L is a sweet boat... for a narrow cat it handles really well.....
