Twin Hydro, is it possible?

I have a question for you guys..
has anyone built a twin Hydro before?
and will this work well?
I'm just about to buy a hull to have my first twin, and I love the look of gas hydro's and thought could this work on this hull.....?

well I've seen twin Cats and someone on here has done a twin Mono, I would hope this works on a Hydro...

Why not? are you gonna set it up for course running (RTO) or sport?

My thoughts are sport...
I would like to try twin 10XL's on 5s
But I've also thought about a single big 1000kv motor on 5s in parallel and have the same rpms as a gasser, so I could use gas prop?
So 18-19,000rpm with a big prop may be a good way to go..

Why not go with a proven race hull before you try an unknown? The Stryker 2 and the Aeromarine Thunderbolt have a solid history of racing performance and they are the same price as the Chi hull. Aeromarine has the Chaos too but the price is a bit higher. Or if you could find a Performance International but chances are most ones available are going to be used. A twin hydro? I'm all ears.

Is my math wrong or is that a 20 pound hull? 9000 grams. It would be nice if you could see the bottom of the hull. But if its 20 pounds the one big motor better have it esp if youre going to run a gas prop. Id tell you screamer but doesnt seem to be enough data yet on gas props on the screamer at a lower s rating. So Id be leaning towards the 1900zr neu or some other big hog. No matter what youre gonna pull some amps.

I like the zippkits too. That always gives you the option of changing some things around different cowls etc.

The weight they have listed is the shipping weight..
I think race ready gasser is about 12-14lbs?
