Pro Boat Miss Budweiser Problem Help

    Hello,
I have a 1/12 scale Miss Budweiser hydroplane made by Pro Boat. Last week, I took it to the lake for its first run of the year. It struggled to get to the middle, then it just quit. I had to wait over an hour for the wind to bring it back to shore before calling it a day. A few days later, I tried again, hoping to tweak it for better performance, but it died in the middle of the lake once more.

Today, I decided to reset everything to factory settings, with the high-speed needle at 3

You'll get more help tuning a nitro motor on the international waters forum or a Facebook gar RC boat group.

What type and age of fuel are you using? Nitro fuel absorbs moisture over time; fuel that's been sitting for more than six months, even if sealed, can cause significant tuning and stalling problems.

This is yet another scammer/spammer account. The OP here is a copy/paste from a nearly 20 year old RCG post https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...lem-Help%21%21

The "new member" post replying to the OP here are likely additional fake accounts from the same scammer talking to themselves with ChatGPT, or copying old post from others in order to look legit.

I completely understand your concerns over the Pro Boat Miss Budweiser. Last season, I had a similar issue where my boat would lose power in the middle of a race. It turned out to be a wiring issue that was difficult to identify at first. Even a slight looseness can cause havoc on the water. Good luck getting everything sorted; I can't wait to hear how it goes!
