    80mph

Hi, I'm new the this channel,

I'm building up my Sonicwake v2 36 to get up to 80mph , I've been searching for a good motor that will work, I'm not sure if this is the one, but I've come up with the SSS 4092 V2 Brushless 1100Kv , I have a Seaking 200 amp esc , so it's 8S system.
could anyone let me know if this motor will work well or not well ?
    Thanks for your time.

I have run that motor in a DF Pirate (35") on 8s with a ztw 200, but a long way from 80 mph. It may well be possible. I suggest you use the speed calculator to get the best idea on kv and prop. You might need a bigger esc.

1100kv on 8s is too low of a kv to do 80mph in that boat. The sss 4092 1650kv on 8s with a high rake 47 to 48mm would greatly increase your chances of achieving 80mph.

Good lipos example SMC, everything properly soldered, abc 1916 17 45 2 blade, probably osc high rake 48m, something along that line.
