Check your bearings. It could be bad. Ive had a bearing lock up on me and the shaft was spinning in the bearing causing extreme heat. Enough for it to turn the motor shaft blue.

FWIW i've run a 8xl with a X445 in a BBY OM29 motor temp was 130 after a 4 minute run.
