well i went swimming today up here in mass

When I lived in NC, we went swimming all the time in a lake (Off Pine St in Boiling Spring Lakes) that had gators in it. They pretty much stuck to one cove, and after dark would come over and clean up the garbage left on the black beach.

They never bothered us, even when we were out in the middle of the lake on inner tubes.

Ok Andy Kunz, so if you went swimming in the pond in North Carolina, and you were all of a sudden going after an rc boat, would it be more dangerous than the swimming you used to do for fun?

The thing is, I had assumed the naysayers meand to avoid swimming after a boat, not swimming, period. Swimming certainly can be dangerous. Lots of people drown. But does anybody have anything re rc boats other than the panic factor?

My mono went out and brought back my rigger last weekend. I drove it up between one sponson and the tub it is a cracker box so the front skeg pushed on the rear boom. Worked like a champ lol. I always take my fishing pole good for saves within 100ft.

Now how can swimming with gators be more risky than swimming for your boat?LOL........ Kudos to you Andy.....that takes some kahonas to do that!!!!!!!!They will pull you under and drown you from what i here.
