I got about what I expected out of this contraption
. I will have to find a more siutable motor. This one is not going to survive very long. The hull is 100% water tight..like all of my boats really. I need to extend the battery wires in order to move the cg foward enough. The prop seems fine. I may take an inch off the OB bracket. It seems to drag a bit when its getting up on plane. I think I need one of those speed 600s or titain motors off a villan. The car motor drwaing alot of current. After a 2 or the minute run the esc was 151 and the motor was 168
. It has been a long time since I smelled burnt armature epoxy yehaa!!
. With the correct motor it will make a speedy recovery craft. Exactly what I was lookin for.

. If I where to keep this big 30+ inch hull I would go in that direction. What I think I need to do here is put a titan 550 in it, bring the ob an inch closer to the boat and install some cooling on that esc. If I only use it to fetch it should live long enough for the Apache to come avalable. Then Ill give this hull to one of the kids to play with. Your suggestion has me really has me thinking about another direction to go in though...
