This motor came with a hull I got 3rd or more hand--previous owner (and I) have no idea what it is. It weights 17oz as shown, as near as I can measure is 1.75 in (46mm) in diameter and 2 7/16 in (62mm) long, and has a 3/16" shaft. Someone scratched 36V on the end, best guess is that's the max voltage. Any idea what it is? Thanks...Pete M

Well, I took a micrometer to the shaft and it is .187 inches, which equates to 3/16" or 4.75mm. So it may have started out as 6mm and ended up where it is now, as the shaft looks as if it was machined down. There is also a flat spot on it that looks like it was put there using a Dremel tool. See picture. However, it is not anywhere near 77mm long, it is just under 2 1/2" as I first stated, about 62mm long. Based on all this, I am fairly certain it is this motor:
KB45-10L 1800kv Brushless Inrunner
Kv: 1800RPM/V
Weight: 449g
Shaft: 6mm
Size: 63x45mm
Voltage: 36v
Highest rated power: 2808W
These specs match the weight and the voltage indication scratched on the end of the motor.Comment

There is also KB45 1400 KV with the same size. Would be hard to tell by looking on the outside.
It is nowhere near the 28008w rated power. Maybe 1100 at best, then smoke show.Comment

Ouch--not encouraging, especially since the Hobby King site (where I got the specs for the 1800Kv motor) states the KB 45 1400Kv motor is a 2246W motor--makes me wonder if the 1800Kv power rating is way out of line as well...Comment

Well, two factors come to mind...
The KB I already have, so no additional cost involved.
"They" say the Feigao is 1800W, but how credible it that number? If "they" are overstating the capacity by 100% as is being claimed for the KB, then that makes it a 900W motor.
