So, when I put my 700sc in the boat, do I need to water cool it?

Yes, I have two water pu's. I have one on the bottom of the boat. It is a brass one you drill a little hole thru the bottom. That one cools the motor, then exits out of the side. The rudder pu cools the brushes and the esc, then exits out the other side. Make sure you reinforce the transom when you put the hardware on. Make sure you upgrade the servo. Thanks C

Should I use the existing prop or with a different prop? Also, if I go to a different prop, is there some kind of modification needed to make if fit or do they just swap out?

I got out my scale and it looks like 4mm. It has a drive dog on the shaft.
I was looking at an Octura prop and it is set up for a 3/16" shaft size which is about 4.8mm.Last edited by jim1221160; 09-03-2007, 02:39 PM.

Thank you,
Ok, took a look and nope. Let me see if I have a spare or can live without mine.
