Plasti dip or DP270 on UBEC?

I have several this way that I haven't used much but have not caused any problems.

I think the DP270 gets down into the nooks and crannies better and isn't easily damaged like the plasti dip is. Just my opinion though.

It is a thin/light coating applied by aerosol can. Great stuff. Dont know if true but its supposedly the brand Castle uses on their speedos. I have been using it for a couple years and never a problem. Silicone Conformal Spray.

My own preference would be to use the DP270 (I already have used this to waterproof my Hextronic UBEC's) but as long as the plasti dip had no conductive properties I see no reason it couldnt be used.

I now use Permatex Ultra Blue RTV Sensor-Safe Silicone
I tried tool-dip, then liquid tape (2 different brands), then Zap thin epoxy heated, then conformal coating (3 coatings) to waterproof ESC's that actually get submerged when the boat is not running. I run outboard tunnel hulls. All of these waterproofing efforts failed. Now use Permatex Ultra Blue RTV Silicone Sensor-Safe Gasket Maker Item# 81724. It takes silicone to bond correctly to the silicone wire insulation and silicone cooling tubing. Epoxy eventually leaks along the silicone wire insulation, killing the esc. The other methods eventually fail for me after typically 8 sessions or so at the pond.
