I was thinking about taking the hydro plane out of my BBY Logo and letting you guys use it. I can convert the whole thing to vector art, Dr Sticka program. I am in the middle of up grading my computer this would be a good test for it. I will see what I can do to night and post it for any one to use tomorrow.
Small Favor needed.

Just ordered my decals of the boy with the Monster Truck! I got 2 done in white and 2 done in chrome. I will post a link to the guys site when he gets them up. They were $4.99ea for white and $6.99ea for chrome.

I printed out the picture to show my boys. My wife saw it and loved it. She now wants me to have one made to put on her car.Originally posted by CornelP View PostNo problem... using Corel, I cannot verify if the file is ok... but it seems so.

Not needed now?
OK, so you are set then and do not need these anymore, correct?Originally posted by alvinsmith75 View PostJust ordered my decals of the boy with the Monster Truck! The boy with the radio turned out great, did them in white and black. They weed easily.
I also did the offshore vee and the three pack with the ose logo. These the boat hulls are only 3 to 3.5" long and the details get really small and difficult to weed. How big should these be cut? Scale wise, it looks great, but I do not think anyone could see the image unless they were next to your vehicle. I cut some in white and black, currently have yellow, red and tan also.
A 24" x 30' roll of Oracal looks like it would be $43 - $50 plus SH for a 751 which is a good vinyl. The only Chrome I see is a Oracal 351 which only has a two year outdoor wear rating, and is almost $40 a roll also. Maybe Cornel has some ideas.
Well, if Alvin is all set, is Steve interested in the ones I had cut for Alvin? For giving us such a fine site to visit, I would gladly mail you a set if you want. Let me know what you want.

Oracal 351 is a bit thick if I remember correctly, so more chances to fall off... a better metallic is the 951M, difficult to find... There is a line used for signs, the Oralite 5700, very nice and reflecting, so probably better than metallic. The last one that would be nice is a line that I cannot remember the name of, used for airplane graphics. I think it is not listed on catalogs, but it would be the best...

vinyl
My old catalog doesn't even list the 951, it stops at the 851. Right now I am using 651 as everything I did was for inside the factory. Outside, it is listed as a 6 year life and 2.5 mils thick.Originally posted by CornelP View PostOracal 351 is a bit thick if I remember correctly, so more chances to fall off... a better metallic is the 951M, difficult to find... The 351 chrome or gold is listed as 1 mil.
Anyways, I will make one for myself since I am doing it. I also wanted to make some for Alvin since it was his original request (but he has them now I guess), as well as Steve since it is his site. I will play with it a bit and mail out some to others also. I am an engineer, so I do vinyl for the factory signs, it is not a source of income or job for me. Another way of saying, very limited knowledge! Just wanted to do something nice for the site and fellow members.
