that looks like an awesome tool for sure well worth the effort.....I wonder how you control the cmaera on the end of the cable?

if you move the weight forward at the bottom of the camera it will look down, so I can slowly troll around. Hope it works!

I've seen one installed on a long competition fishing pole (about 10m). The mounts are in the box... Could not see through the dirty water anyway, and infrared is not that useful looking for non animated objects. If your pond is well looked after, you could have a chance... otherwise... use it for fishing :)

I've seen similar results. A friend of mine went diving at a lake that we vacation at and run some rc boats. Even with it being a "drinking water" classified lake, he could only see about few feet in front of him.
