    Looks like a piece of aluminum RF Shield off a Microwave oven to me - - good stuff. I hoard all kinds of junk. Never know when it'll come in handy !!!

        It the same stuff that aftermarket truck/car grills are made off. I just got mine off a scrap piece that was used on an aircraft conversion.

                    Paul, a bag of frozen peas should ease the pain! Yeah, I would certainly keep away from that vendor. My hunches tell me that his casting are a mix of tin and very little aluminum. Aluminum is pretty pricey. Tin not so much. He is an ebay seller too, wanna guess how much he is asking for a $29.95 jet boat knockoff?? BTW he offers free shipping, ETA 2 months!!!by Boat!( no pun intended either!!)
