I wonder if you could land a 450size helicopter on that landing pad and conduct a rescue at the same time. Neat vessel, but the proof is in the vid I guess.
HPR115 x2 ,Dark Horse Shovel, Delta Force CyberStorm, Delta Force Sniper 23-RTR:
I have thought about importing those but they don't have a long enough space between the sponsons to drive up over a boat and they're a bit pricey. After cost, shipping, etc., I'd have to charge a lot more than your referenced site.
If you get one, let me know how it turns out. I'm building a boogie board airboat ($1 garage sale) with a brushless airplane motor.
Attach your line from your fishrod to the bouy.
drive the boat around the dead boat, have a small t grip or rescuehook
on the deck of the boat, if the line catches the hook/t grip, just use your fishingrod
to get your dead boat back.
Use the vessel only to bring the bouy near your boat.
that's how we do it.
There was a guy I saw down at a fishing pier on the ocean that was using something similiar to this to FISH! It was quite a bit bigger...
He would lower the RC boat down into the water with one pole with heavy line on it. Attached to the boat, was a quick release mechanism that was hooked to his regular fishing line...
He'd drive the boat out away from the pier, way out there... Then with a quick tug of his pole, he'd release the line from the boat and it would sink down. He'd set the pole in a holder and drive the boat back to the pier and reel it up...
Was really cool, and seemed to work well....

So the candy striped wire( for a lack of a better term) hooks up to the prop or rudder and brings the boat in. What happens if the boat is upside down?

then you're screwed? LOL for a lack of better terms. Its ideal only on an upright boat, but not an inverted boat. A U shaped boat as pictured above is probably the best design for a rescue boat for both an inverted to an upright.
