I think we've given the gentleman 3 or so really decent options... each as it's advantages... all work very well.
Throw the dart, pick your poison... then go build and race some BOATS!!
OH, but, for what it's worth... I think that Spektrum has the coolest team colors!!

Put the Airtronics under your pillow and you'll fall asleep faster, have sweeter dreams, wake up feeling recharged and ready to take the world by the @$$.Originally posted by Steven Vaccaro View PostBefore I go to sleep I usually eat popcorn. This one is definitely putting me to sleep.

I came to my interview here with an orange and black T-shirt (my dorm floor colors from college) to wear to the company picnic that afternoon. Fortunately I blended in with all the University of Illinois fans :)

I just had to stop by and have a laugh at this, you cant beat the irony of advertising a product using terminology you don't understand and getting it wrong.Originally posted by BILL OXIDEAN View PostOur response latency is twice that of the next leading radio mfgrs including Futaba and Spektrum.
As a side note, all the big 5 have decent 2.4ghz radio sets now, they all have there good points and bad points, I'm not sponsored so I wont bother to say who makes mine just that I think it is a worthwhile improvement over the 35/40mhz gear I used to use.
Edit: I know people that have had good experiences as I have had and also experiences so bad theve shelved the gear and moved to another brand/back to 35/40mhz with gear from futaba, spectrum and airtronics and while its new I expect Hitec gear to be the same with time, however I doubt Multiplex will be the same as I have never had anyone say a bad word about any Multiplex radio ever, I just wish I could afford it.Last edited by NativePaul; 12-04-2009, 04:40 PM.Paul Upton-Taylor, Greased Weasel Racing.

No need to worry, we live out near Monticello. Got corn for a neighbor across the road and beans in the back yard. The kids are all still Steelers, Yankees, etc. fans - they know better than to root for UI!Originally posted by Grimracer View PostHea Andy.. you dont let those good little kids of yours follow that gang stuff do ya?

Crazy enough, I have not had even a bad glitch on AM. I ran in WI at the Sardine Classic in 3 classes and boats everywhere and never had an issue.
I know...damn lucky. Now have some of the of the 2.4 systems from AQ.

Most of the guys who know you live in Mahomet. We keep them quarantined there :DOriginally posted by Bill-SOCAL View PostIs there ANYBODY who works for Horizon who does NOT live in Monticello???
Being under 5 minutes from the field and having a pond across the road were big considerations in the house we bought (the huge shop and garage was another major factor). We have certainly been blessed!

I've been to both Goldsmith's and Big John's houses. I thought they were pretty much in the "center" of Monticello?? Like there is an "outskirts". I guess there is. They call it "cornfields".Don't get me started
