or maybe buy it as is and if the motor or the esc self destruct replace them with a name brand, i know that a couple people on here have the head of the river cats and they are impresed with them so i was thinking that this mono would be good too.

I agree, that HOR ARTR you found on Ebay is a good deal. Keep in mind it has to travel a long way, so the risk of damage is increased. But I have bought stuff from this guy and you have a pretty good chance of getting your boat in perfect working order."Look good doin' it"
