water proofing a esc?

how do you u guys water proof you esc's? and what is the process? just bought a mystery 100a and want to wter proof it and ad a water cooling plate that i have. any tips would be great. thnx

reckon dipping is the sure fire way, but I like to paint so I paint em up with conformal E pox E

I usually use this to waterproof it, even I use it for my receiver too

Cool, that was one of the things I was looking for and the article attached. I looked and looked, but I was looking for epoxy under under the glues and epoxy section, how about that!

auto parts stores, walmarts, home depot, Lowes, ace hardware etc all carry it. I paid 6.99 a can for the black here in Forks, WA at the hardware store. it also can be used to glue on the cooling plates. Just apply on several thin coats to start then one heavy coat and place the esc on the plate and let set for a couple of hours to set up. then give it another coat or 2

Of course not! these esc's are not designed for our use. The plastidip can usually be stripped off to make repairs (usually) bot at 30.00 why bother.
