    hydro /rigger question

Hi guys. I have a 1/16th shovel, that I built from Gary Finlay plans a couple of years back.

It has been damage it transit, patched up from mishandling too many times.
I'm looking to re-use the power system in another hull.
What I'm looking for ,is either plans for building a different hull or suggestions of a hull to buy.

    I have a water cooled Feigao 6s / cooled 80 amp esc / 2s1p 5000 35 + 40c packs.
I will ditch the solid shaft and go for a flex or wire drive.
This is a sport hull for fast solo running. Not wanting to spend big bucks.

Was thinking Campbell shovel - too big ?
    Or perhaps a rigger ?

Advice / input much appreciated. Thanks.

For that motor I'd recommend a rigger... the 6s motor does not have a lot of torque so weight becomes an issue... a wire drive is nice if you have a long enough distance from the coupler to the strut, you don't wanna use it in tight quarters (use flex instead),
riggers are cheaper and easier to build.

Thanks, a rigger was my initial thought, for the hot wind.
Any ideas where I can get plans for a three point rigger??
I'm assuming that 24" would be ok as this is the current shovels length......

24" should do the trick for the 6s motor...
there is a little rigger from Zipp Kits that's
taking the market by storm, it's about the
right size and comes in a laser cut kit for 40 bux...
perfect for a 2s system, you should chk it out.

look for the little rigger... there is a waiting list due to the demand, I suggest you get on it.

          Hi there Fleetmaster.
Sounds like the "Predator" would be the ideal rigger to me.
There are free plans on the following link. Also some hydros too.
You can scale the plans up or down to what ever size you want.

          All the best.
          Paul.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

I'll check out the Zippkits one later on today. Thanks Ubhauled !

Paul, I actually found the predator plans last night and downloaded them.
They may be the route I go down, but i'll explore my options first.
            Cheers !
