    Lehner equivalent to Neu 1y 1515 2200kv?

Looking for the equivalent to a neu 1515 1y 2200kv in a Lehner, is it a 1950/6? Or am I way off? From what I have read givin the lehner is rated at load you would take the 2090kv and multiply it by 1.1 giving me 2299kv. I am very new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

Keep in mind that Lehner's are 2-pole, vs the 4-Poles of the Neu.

To address your question, the Lehner gets its rating for KV assuming a 40A load. So the listed KV will be closer to actual KV.

      Thanks Darin,
Does anyone know what the neu 1515 2200kv puts out under a 40a load? And if I understand it correctly the 4-pole has more torque than a 2-pole so would I need composate for the difference with a higher kv or a different series of lehner. Trying to get as close as possible to a 1515 2200kv neu but in a lehner variant.

      Thanks!

As Darin mentioned, the Lehner's Kv is measured under load, so you will want a Lehner with a Kv under 2200. How much under? Good question, years ago when we were replacing Lehners with Neus we would choose a Neu with 15-25% higher Kv. But I have no idea how reversing that process would work today given that both manufacturers have changed materials and design slightly.
